We cannot recommend Adrian and Bart highly enough. During the nine week project, Bart and Adrian constantly impressed us. They were extremely professional and committed to their work. But it was the results that we were blown away by most! We had the flat stripped bare, new plumbing, electricity and heating installed, walls demolished and new ones built, a new kitchen and bathroom, bespoke carpentry, wooden flooring throughout, a real fire put in and the whole flat fully decorated. Another important factor for us was how we would stay in contact with the builders as we work long hours and couldn't always be available on the phone but the guys were always available by email as well as talking and meeting with us in the evenings and at the weekends. They never just made do but considered all our plans thoroughly and offered us detailed suggestions to get the most effective results and best finishes. We found them very good value for money too and we will go straight to them in the future for any building or decorating work without a doubt!
Adrian, Bart and their team carried out various building works at our office in North London, and specifically on two new bathrooms, which they completed to a very high standard. As we are a firm of architects working with building contractors all the time, we are well placed to comment on the quality of A&B's services. Adrian and Bart are very nice guys and without question very professional, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. The main difference between A&B and their competitors is that they have all the skills in-house to carry out projects such as bathrooms - for us, they did everything: skimming with plaster, tiling, extraction/vents, plumbing, electrics (light fittings) fitting the sanitary ware and painting themselves (i.e. specialized trades) and most impressively they did these to a very high standard, with real attention to detail. The other difference is that they were efficient with time and also very flexible in fitting around our schedule and even offered to work weekends at no extra cost, which is generally unheard of. We also found that their price was very competitive, perhaps this was because they did not have to sub-contract any part of the works.

We have a large grade two listed house in north London which requires a not inconsiderable amount of maintenance. Over the years we have tried to get quality tradesmen but the norm appears to be to promise the earth but when questioned in depth showed very little knowledge or skill so we were fortunate to be given details of Bart and Adrian by a work colleague of my wife's. We started them off with redecoration, painting etc and over the last 4 years, renovation of windows, new flooring, tiling etc.
The “boys” and their team are hard working, honest and diligent in their approach to the work undertaken. They do what they say they will do and often more so rest assured that the quality of the workmanship will be extremely hard to beat.
We have used A&B for a variety of diverse jobs in our house – external woodwork restoration, internal renovations of kitchen, bedrooms, living room and dining room and have found their work to be of the highest quality. The attention-to-detail of their work is particularly exemplary and we have become accustomed to leaving some of the work to Bart & Adrian’s judgment and in each case been delighted with the results. They are personable and scrupulous and come with our highest recommendation.
A&B coordinate excellent building and decorating skills to produce work of a high standard. They show great attention to detail and deliver projects on schedule and at a reasonable cost. I would definitely use them again and I am very happy to recommend them.
